A recent article from the BBC states that shows such as Life on Mars, Little Britain and now Torchwood will be available to download via Apple's iTunes store. Since the launch of the service on Christmas Day, 3.5million shows have been downloaded or streamed during the first two weeks. Once the episodes have been made accessible on the BBC's iPlayer, they will be available to download for £1.89 each. For now, this service is only available in the UK, but more information on this when it emerges.

I'm happy to say that I just purchased Series 1 and 2 from iTunes in America.
Which is pretty sweet since the dvds cost between $60 and $80 in the store and I'd just end up ripping them onto my ipod anyway.
Each Season was $25.87 for the season and $1.99 per episode.
Shame they don't make Dr. Who available.
